The instant application has been filed by the petitioner for modification of the order dated 30.6.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. no.11888 of 2020 wherein while granting bail to the petitioner in connection with Mahila P.S. Case no.99 of 2016, the petitioner was directed to surrender in the learned court below within a period of eight weeks.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that for the reasons stated in the petition which were beyond the control of the petitioner, the petitioner could not surrender within the time fixed. Further, in compliance of the direction of this Court, he has deposited a sum of Rs.10,000/ with the Patna High Court Legal Services Committee and has brought a copy

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48042 of 2021(3) dt.01-12-2021 2/2 of the receipt thereof on record by filing a supplementary affidavit.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and on going through the materials on record, the direction contained in the said order for the petitioner to surrender in the learned court below is modified to the extent that the petitioner shall surrender within a period of six weeks from today. The remaining part of the order dated 30.6.2020 shall remain unchanged. The order dated 30.6.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. no.11888 of 2020 stands modified to the above extent. The application stands disposed of.
