JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER 06-05-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under section 47(a, f) of the Excise Act. It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that he was neither arrested on the spot nor was anything recovered from his possession. It is further contended that recovery was made from an isolated place and not from the house of the petitioner. It is also intriguing as to how the Excise Personnel have taken the name of the petitioner even though he has no criminal antecedent.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the abovenamed petitioner, namely, Ram Kumar @ Teja Yadav, be released on bail in the event of arrest/surrender before
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18528 of 2016 (2) dt.06-05-2016 the court below within a period of six weeks from today in Bhojpur Excise Case No. 45 of 2006(Tr. No. 610 of 2013) on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- ( Ten Thousand Rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sri N.K. Srivastav, Judicial Magistrate, Ara, District Bhojpur, subject to the conditions laid down under sub-section
