Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 30 and 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
From a truck, huge quantity of foreign liquor was recovered. Petitioner no. 2 is driver of the truck and petitioner no. 1 and 3 are Khalasi of the truck. Petitioners have stated on oath that they have got no criminal antecedent. Petitioners are in custody since 24.03.2019. Investigation of the case is already complete against the petitioners.

No.39521 of 2019(5) dt.26-09-2019 2/2 Hence, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Gopalganj Town Police Station Case No. 158 of 2019, subject to the following conditions:- (a) The petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the learned court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
(b) Both the bailors shall be resident of the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below.
