2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 388 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 109, 308(3), 351(2), 352 and 3(5) of BNS.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner assaulted the informant with a hockey stick and co-accused Puranjeet Singh also assaulted him with a butt of pistol. The informant suffered head injury. The accused persons threatened not to pay the petrol pump dues and also demanded 50,000 as extortion ₹ money.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36074 of 2025(4) dt.03-12-2025 2/2 that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated. As a matter of fact, the petitioner is a lender who uses to lend money to the borrowers whereas the informant is nephew of owner of the petrol pump. There was some money transaction between them, due to which, the occurrence took place. The injuries are simple in nature.
5. On the other hand, Mr. J.N. Thakur, the learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.
6. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 388 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
