The petitioners seeks bail in connection with Chakand P.S. Case No. 140 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 354(B) 427, 504, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8/12 of the POCSO Act. As per the prosecution case, the petitioners have tried to molest a 12 years old girl.

It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners are in custody since 23.04.2023 and the case has been compromised between the parties. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the allegations levelled against the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38982 of 2023(2) dt.21-07-2023 2/2 Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioners are rejected herewith.
