JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 06-05-2015 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341,323,379,307 and 385/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. It is alleged that the informant who is contesting Panchayat election for the post of Mukhia was fired at and when he started to flee away then accused persons including the petitioner chased, caught him and assaulted with lathi. Statement has been made in paragraph 9 of the petition that no injury was caused to the informant. Further statement has been made that the informant is in habit of lodging cases. It has also been stated in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
