It appears the case was called on 19.10.2011 and thereafter on 23.12.2011 and on both the occasions nobody had appeared on behalf of the petitioner .

The writ application, challenging the fixation of seniority in the rank of Sub Inspector of Police, was admitted to hearing without any interim order. It appears that petitioner has lost interest in pursuing the present petition.
