2. With the consent of both the parties, this writ application is being disposed of at the present stage itself.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for seeking the reliefs as claimed for in the present writ application, he has already filed a representation before the District Panchayat Raj Officer, Gopalganj (Respondent No. 3) dated 21.04.2025 which has been enclosed in the writ application as P/3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied if an appropriate direction could be issued to the District Panchayat Raj Officer, Gopalganj (Respondent No. 3) to dispose of his representation on merit after giving an

Patna High Court CWJC No.9915 of 2025(2) dt.26-06-2025 2/2 opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, by passing a reasoned and speaking order.

4. This prayer being made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is not opposed by the learned counsel for the Respondent-State.

Considering the limited nature of prayer being made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ application is being disposed of directing the District Panchayat Raj Officer, Gopalganj (Respondent No. 3) to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 21.04.2025 (Annexure-P/3 to the writ application) on merit after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. Needless to emphasize that the final order which shall be passed by respondent no. 3 should be a reasoned and speaking order. The entire exercise must be carried out within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of this order by the petitioner.
