Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1045 of 2019(9) dt.31-01-2020 2/3 (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 31-01-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the respondents.
Petitioners have prayed for the following reliefs: "For issuance of writ of habeas corpus against the respondent no. 1st set and be pleased to direct the respondent 1st set to immediately recover and produce the respondent 3rd set Mukesh Yadav and restore them to the family of the petitioners, who is in illegal confinement of respondent 2nd set. Undisputedly, it has come on record that missing person namely Mukesh Yadav, unfortunately is no more in the land of living and according to the State, he was murdered, amongst others, by Ravi Gope, Akshay Kumar and Akash Kumar.
As such, no other and further orders are required to be passed in this petition, save and accept that this Court only hope and expect the investigating agency to complete the investigation at the earliest and submit challan for trial. This, we hope, would be done within a period of six months from today. Liberty is granted to the writ petitioners to apprise the authority of whereabouts of the missing person as also initiate appropriate proceedings before the appropriate forum with regard to any of the other grievances.
Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of
Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1045 of 2019(9) dt.31-01-2020 3/3 reserving liberty aforesaid.
