2. The only grievance of the petitioner is that despite having represented for payment of leave encashment and gratuity before Deputy Development Commissioner-cum- Chief Executive Officer, Zila Parishad, Darbhanga, no action has been taken with regard to the settlement of claim.

3. It has next been submitted that the petitioner is said to have retired from service on 31.07.2023 and has suffered paralytic attack and is in dire need of money for getting proper treatment.

4. On the other hand, learned counsel for the State submits that this matter may be directed to be considered by the

Patna High Court CWJC No.9808 of 2024(4) dt.14-11-2025 2/2 Respondent No. 3/ Deputy Development Commissioner-cumChief Executive Officer, Zila Parishad, Darbhanga by fixing a time limit so that the grievances of the petitioner can be adjudicated.

Considering the submissions of the parties, this Court is of the view that Respondent No.3, on submission of fresh representation within a period of two weeks in continuation of the earlier representations made on different dates with the copy of this order, is directed to adjudicate the grievances of the petitioner within a further period of two weeks keeping in mind that the petitioner is not keeping a good health and is in dire need financial help.

6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the instant petition stands disposed of.
