JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 23-11-2021 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Prayer for bail of this petitioner was earlier rejected by this court vide order dated 27.05.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 27.05.2020. By order dated 15.09.2021 a report was called for from the court below about the stage of trial which reveals that charge has already been framed on 17.01.2020 and case is running at the stage of evidence.

Considering the nature of accusation and gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

However, since the petitioner is in custody since 11.06.2019, the trial court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible.
