The petitioner has prayed for grant of leave encashment amount for 300 days, which has not been paid till date, despite him having retired on 31.01.2020 from the post of Vanopaj Adhidarshak, Bihar State Forest Development Corporation Limited, Patna.

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that appropriate direction be issued to the respondent no. 3 i.e. the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Development)-cum-Managing Director, Bihar State Forest

Patna High Court CWJC No.263 of 2021(2) dt.23-03-2021 2/2 Development Corporation Limited to make payment of the aforesaid amount of leave encashment, due to the petitioner. 3.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate representation before the respondent no. 3 within a period of two weeks from today for payment of the leave encashment amount, whereupon the respondent no. 3 shall take appropriate action upon the same in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter and in case, the amount of leave encashment is found payable, the same shall be paid within a period of four weeks, thereupon.
