JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN ORAL ORDER 29-04-2016 Although the petitioner raises grievance regarding the situs of the booth but he nowhere mentioned in the writ petition whether he is pained by such location.

On the other hand, Mr. Raju Giri learned G.P.30 on instructions from the Block Development Officer who is the Returning Office for the election submits that the creation of these booths are in addition to the existing booth to cater the large number of voters and have been established in compliance with the guidelines of the State Election Commission which mandates its location within two kilometers of the reach of the electorate. In view of the submission made by Mr. Giri and in absence of any submission made by the writ petitioner regarding the prejudice caused to him, no cause for indulgence is made out. The writ petition is disposed of.
