2. The petitioner has prayed for bail in connection with Salmari P.S. Case No. 102 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 308(5) and 111(1) of the B.N.S.

3. The case of the prosecution is that one Shankar Yadav demanded ransom from mobile no. 9910114969 else he will shot the informant. The name of Shankar Yadav was only there in the FIR. During course of investigation, the house of Shankar Yadav was raided. This petitioner was arrested from the house of Shankar Yadav.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has been falsely implicated in this case. It has further

No.38948 of 2025(3) dt.03-09-2025 2/2 been submitted that from perusal of the F.I.R., it will transpire that there is specific allegation against Shankar Yadav and this petitioner has been framed only because he has been arrested from the house of Shankar Yadav. It has also been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that similarly situated accused persons have been granted bail by learned Co-ordinate Bench vide Cr. Misc. No. 22928 of 2025 and by this Court vide Cr. Misc. No. 31130 of 2025. The case of this petitioner stands on similar footing. Petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 21.12.2024.

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Katihar in connection with Salmari P.S.
