The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Azimabad P.S. Case No. 69 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Section 448 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 3/4 of the Witch Craft Prevention Act. The petitioners are alleged to have assaulted the informant after calling her witch.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the occurrence took place on 25.10.2014, but the FIR was lodged on 14.11.2014. The petitioner and the informant are co-sharer. Other accused persons namely Jitendra Choudhari and Mogal Choudhari have already been enlarged on anticipatory bail vide order passed in Cr. Misc. No. 6322 of 2014.

No.13647 of 2015 (2) dt.07-05-2015 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Ara, Bhojpur in connection with Azimabad P.S. Case No. 69 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
