Initially, the petitioner was not selected on medical ground for appointment on the post of Constable. Thereafter, the petitioner filed this writ petition C.W.J.C. No. 94/2004 in this court which was disposed of on 22.03.2005 with direction that the respondents shall get the petitioner examined by the Medical Board and in pursuance thereof, the petitioner was medically examined and consequently, he was appointed on the post of Constable in the year 2005. The petitioner was posted in Panisagar, Tripura. The petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.6125 of 2009 dt.23-02-2017 2/2 filed this writ petition for grant of increment from the date on which his batchmate were appointed. It appears that the cause of action shows in the State of Tripura.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, after some arguments seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition, so that the petitioner may file representation before the authority to consider his case. Prayer is allowed. The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
