2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 362 of 2025, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 309(6), 3(5) of the B.N.S. and Section 25(1-B)(a) and 26 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, three persons allegedly committed a loot of Rs. 2,43,000/- after assaulting the informant.

4. The informant has identified the petitioner and stated that he had snatched his bag and injured him by hitting him on the head. The stolen documents, including his ATM cards, Aadhaar card, an empty passbook and the bike used in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36868 of 2026(2) dt.30-06-2026 2/2 incident, were recovered from the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 02.10.2025. The petitioner is not named in the FIR; his name surfaced on the basis of the confessional statement of the co-accused, Ranjit Kumar.

5. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the involvement of the petitioner in the alleged occurrence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this application for bail stands dismissed.

7. It is made clear that any observation made herein is prima facie in nature and limited solely for the purpose of adjudication of the present bail application. Such observations shall not be construed as an expression on the merits of the case and shall not influence the trial or any other proceedings in any manner.
