The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 376A and 376B of the Indian Penal Code and section 4 of the POCSO Act. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 8.3.2021 (Annexure-1) passed in Cr. Misc. no.38246 of 2020 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after completing one year in custody. It is submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 11.8.2020 and has no criminal antecedent.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and

No.48235 of 2021(2) dt.08-09-2021 2/2 taking into consideration the liberty granted to the petitioner by the earlier order of rejection dated 8.3.2021 together with the petitioner having remained in custody for over 1 year, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Kanti P.S. Case no.468 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 7th Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, POCSO, Muzaffarpur.
