Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner Sri Uma Shankar Verma, the learned counsel for the State- (GP 14) as also the learned counsel for the Corporation Sri R.K. Shukla. 2.

The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondent authorities to pay the amount of leave encashment for 300 days to the deceased husband of the petitioner herein, who died on 11.08.2020, after his retirement on 30.06.2014, from the post of Forester in the office of the Bihar State Forest Development Corporation Limited at Bhagalpur.

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent no. 2 i.e. the Chief Conservator of Forest-cum-Managing Director, Bihar State Forest Development Corporation Limited, Patna, be directed to redress the grievances of the petitioner and make payment of the leave encashment amount.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent no. 2 by filing appropriate representation within a period of four weeks from today, whereupon the respondent no. 2 shall consider the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders with regard to payment of the leave encashment amount of the deceased husband of the petitioner within a period of four weeks thereafter and in case, the respondent no. 2 comes to a conclusion that the leave encashment amount is payable to the petitioner, the same shall be paid within a further period of four weeks thereupon.
