The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mansi P.S. Case No. 285 of 2022 dated 10.08.2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 356 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the allegation against the petitioner is that he alongwith co-accused snatched the purse, ornaments, credit card and mobile phone from informant's wife. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent has committed no offence and has falsely been implicated in this case. There is no recovery from the petitioner and his name came in the confessional statement of the co-accused. The petitioner has not been put on Test

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41077 of 2023(2) dt.14-07-2023 2/2 Identification Parade, is in jail custody since 02.10.2022, having no criminal antecedent. The informant compromised with coaccused Manish Kumar. Charge-sheet has already been filed in this case and there is no chance of absconding or tampering with the evidence.

Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Khagaria in connection with Mansi P.S. Case No. 285 of 2022.
