This writ application has been filed for quashing the order dated 11.04.2011 of the Vice Chancellor, B.R. Ambedkar University, Muzaffarpur, contained in Annexure-13 to the writ petition, passed in pursuance to the order of this Hon'ble Court, passed in CWJC No. 7151/2007, by which the claim of the petitioner about his appointment/promotion to the post of accountant in R.D.S. College, Muzaffarpur, with a retrospective date, has been rejected.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue involved herein requires no adjudication, since the Vice Chancellor of Baba Saheb Bhim Rav Ambedkar Bihar University,

Patna High Court CWJC No.10899 of 2011 (15) dt.14-07-2017 2/2 considering the recommendation of Statutory Promotion Committee, has been pleased to promote the petitioner to the post of accountant with effect from 02.12.2015 i.e. the date of recommendation of Statutory Promotion Sub-Committee, therefore, the grievance of the petitioner has already been redressed. Learned counsel for the University does not dispute the contention of the petitioner as noted above. In view of the fact that the grievance of the petitioner has already been redressed, therefore, this writ application is, accordingly, disposed of.
