Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to remove the defects within four weeks.
The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable u/s 467, 468, 471, 406, 420 IPC. Allegation against the petitioner is of cheating, making forged documents and tampering with Government Documents with regard to sell of a piece of land.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. He has been falsely implicated in this case. No such occurrence, in the manner as alleged, has ever taken place. The allegation leveled against the petitioner is not specific rather general and
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39097 of 2022(2) dt.14-11-2022 2/2 omnibus in nature. The only allegation against the petitioner is that he is the identifier in the sale deed. Petitioner and other coaccused persons sold the land in question on the basis of forged documents. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for bail. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, since petitioner is involved in tampering of Government documents for illegal sale of land in question, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The prayer for grant of bail on behalf of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
This application is accordingly dismissed.
