The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chiraiya (Shikarganj) P. S. Case No. 17 of 2020 dated 26.01.2020, instituted for offences under Sections 399 and 402 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act, 1959. It appears from the F.I.R. that one loaded country-made pistol and four cartridges along with empty magazine is said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

He is in custody since 27.01.2020.

Considering the period of custody of the petitioner in the present case, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sikrahana at Dhaka, East Champaran, in connection with Chiraiya (Shikarganj) P. S. Case No. 17 of 2020.

The petition stands allowed.
