The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Ismailpur P.S. Case No. 14 of 2012 (G.R. No. 476 of 2012) registered under Sections 324, 307, 302 and 506 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner along with five others has been named in the FIR. There is allegation that the accused persons indiscriminately assaulted the mother and sister-in-law of the informant with lathi as a result of which, the sister-in-law of the informant died instantaneously and the mother of the petitioner

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.37677 of 2014 (2) dt.13-04-2015 2 / 2 was admitted to hospital for treatment.

Regard being had to the serious nature of allegation, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J.) Sanjeet/- U T
