2. Having regard to the fact that the husband of the petitioner, while working as a Panchayat Sevak, retired on 30.06.2004 and also died on 14.05.2010, is allegedly said to have been not paid any amount of G.P.F. and such claim is made only in the year 2015 by the wife of the deceased employee, this Court, instead of keeping this writ application pending, would direct the District Provident Fund Officer, Saharsa to examine such grievance of the petitioner and if it is found that the amount of provident fund payable to the husband of the petitioner has not been paid, the said amount as is found admitted and payable must be paid to the petitioner up to statutory interest within a maximum
Patna High Court CWJC No.5574 of 2015 (2) dt.25-06-2015 2/2 period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. It goes without saying that if the payment on the head of G.P.F. has already been made in the life time of the husband of the petitioner or even to the petitioner, details thereof shall be furnished to the petitioner so as to satisfy her that now nothing remains payable on the head of G.P.F.
4. With the aforementioned observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
