JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 20-01-2021 Heard Mr. Rajeev Nayan, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State. The petitioner, who is in custody since 03.07.2020, seeks bail in connection with Nawada Town P.S. Case No. 578 of 2020, dated 02.07.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 414 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is said to be riding a stolen motorcycle.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the motorcycle in question does not belong to him, but had borrowed the same with his co-village/Roshan Kumar.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35836 of 2020(2) dt.20-01-2021 2/2 Regard being had to the nature of accusation and the period of custody of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nawada in connection with Nawada Town P.S. Case No. 578 of 2020.
