The grievance raised and the relief prayed by the petitioners is, for a direction to the Commission for holding repoll on Booth nos.25 and 26 of Gram Panchayat Raj, Bhajauna Nachap in the district of Saran, for the irregularities reported by the Patrolling Magistrate reduced to an F.I.R. placed at Annexure-1.

Patna High Court CWJC No.8018 of 2016 (4) dt.20-05-2016 Commission has produced a letter of the State Election Commission dated 19.5.2016 addressed to the District Magistrate -cum- District Election Officer (Panchayat), Saran at Chapra fixing the date of re-poll on 28.5.2016. Let the letter of State Election Commission dated 19.5.2016 be maintained on the record of the proceedings and in the circumstances discussed, the writ petition is disposed of as having become infructuous.
