The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a criminal prosecution registered under Sections 489(A), 489(B), 489(C)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner is named in the FIR vide Annexure-1 with certain allegations against him for commission of crime in question and further taking into consideration the fact that he is involved in some other criminal cases also, besides the present one, which has been stated in paragraph no.3 of the petition, this Court is not inclined to accede to the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail in connection with Economic Offence Case No.30 of 2012 pending in the court of learned C.J.M., Patna is rejected. The petitioner, if so advised, may surrender in the court below within a period of four weeks from today and, if he applies for regular bail, the same shall be considered on its own merits

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.38462 of 2014 (2) dt.27-03-2015 without being prejudiced/influenced by the rejection of the present application.
