The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Kanhauli P.S. Case No.11 of 2018 registered under Sections 304(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The mother of the deceased alleged that her daughter was married to the petitioner in the year 2010 but thereafter the husband of her daughter and other in-laws started demanding money and due to non-fulfillment of additional demand of dowry, they subjected her daughter to all sorts of physical and mental torture. On 15.01.2018 a panchayati was also held but on 16.01.2018 the informant got information that her daughter was strangulated to death by her husband and other in-laws. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not residing in his house. This fact has come during

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36971 of 2019(2) dt.17-06-2019 2/2 course of investigation but from perusal of order of the learned Sessions Judge, it appears that the wife of petitioner was strangulated to death and the postmortem report also supports the prosecution version.

Having considered the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
