JUSTICE ANJANI KUMAR SHARAN ORAL ORDER 08-02-2024 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State assisted by learned counsel for the opposite party no.2.
2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 494, 341, 323, 504 & 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The petitioner along with other accused persons is said to have tortured and assaulted the informant on non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.
4. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter has been compromised between the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38976 of 2023(5) dt.08-02-2024 2/2 parties and the petitioner and informant are living as husband and wife peacefully.
5. Learned counsel for the opposite party no.2 has no objection to the aforesaid submission.
6. In view of the aforesaid, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court below where the case is pending/successor Court in connection with Munger Mahila P.S. Case No. 14 of 2021, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
