BAJANTHRI ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 31-01-2022 This matter is heard via video conferencing due to circumstances prevailing on account of the COVID-19 Pandemic. None appears for the petitioner.

In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following relief(s):- "(i) To direct the Respondents to make the payment of over time allowance to the petitioner from the period 1995 to 2000 and thereafter from the period 2006 to 2014.

(ii) To direct the respondents to make the payment of overtime allowance to the petitioner for the period indicated above along with penal interest on account

(iii) The petitioner seeks indulgence of the Hon'ble court to grant him any other relief/s to which he is entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case."

In support of the aforesaid relief petitioner is stated to have submitted representations dated 25.10.2018 and 04.02.2020 vide Annexure-6 & 7 respectively and.

The concerned respondent is hereby directed to examine the petitioner's representation and decide as to whether petitioner is entitled to overtime allowance for the period from 1995 to 2000 and from 2006 to 2014 or not? If the petitioner is otherwise eligible he shall be extended monetary benefits. If the petitioner is not entitled for overtime allowance in that event necessary speaking order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner. The above exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
