2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the State.

3. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 96 of 2022 registered for offences under Section(s) 341, 325, 307, 427, 506, 279, 337, 302 and 338/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

4. As per the prosecution, the accused persons, including the petitioner, are alleged to have intentionally hit the victim with a pickup van with an intention to kill him.

5. Considering the nature and the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38315 of 2026(2) dt.17-06-2026 2/2 anticipatory bail to the petitioner in the present case.

6. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is hereby dismissed.

7. It is, however, clarified that the observations made herein are limited to the adjudication of the present application and shall not prejudice the case of the petitioner at any subsequent stage of the proceedings.
