Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Raghopur P.S. Case No. 220 of 2021 registered for the offence under Sections 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 01.08.2022 and he is quite innocent and he has committed no offence.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and he further submits that the petitioner has five criminal antecedent.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38802 of 2023(2) dt.05-07-2023 2/2 with other accused persons have assaulted the informant and snatched his purse containing Rs. 1700/-, driving license, vehicle license, one mobile phone and motorcycle of the informant.

Considering the serious allegations levelled against the petitioner and his criminal antecedents, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this application for regular bail is hereby rejected.

The District Judge, Supaul is directed to get the trial of the following cases registered against the petitioner expedited:- (I) Triveniganj P.S. Case No. 431/2017 (ii) Triveniganj P.S.
