JUSTICE AJAY KUMAR TRIPATHI ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 10-03-2015 Way back on 6.1.2014, the Superintendent of Police (C), Crime Investigation Department had written a letter to the Superintendent of Police, Aurangabad with regard to non- payment of salary to the petitioner, adding up 250 days. It is a very unfortunate situation despite such a communication having been made more than a year ago, the Superintendent of Police has not taken a decision, which compelled the petitioner to file a writ application.

Good governance which is talked about in certain forums

Patna High Court CWJC No.3519 of 2015 dt.10-03-2015 2/2 obviously is not reflected on the ground. The Superintendent of Police has unnecessarily created a litigation by not taking a decision on an issue which has been very clearly specified, which would be evident from reading of Annexure- 2.

Writ is disposed of with a direction to the Superintendent of Police, Aurangabad to ensure that the directive contained in Annexure- 2 is carried out within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of a copy of this order.
