2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Sachiwalay P.S. Case No. 111 of 2024 for the offence punishable under Sections 304(2) of the B.N.S., lodged on 29.08.2024 by the informant, Rinku Kumari.
3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged while taking morning walk on the Atal Path, Patna, the accused came and snatched the golden chain from her neck which followed the F.I.R.
4. Though learned counsel for the petitioner tried to impress upon this Court that he has no role to play in the matter and has no criminal antecedent. Learned APP has taken this

No.36912 of 2025(2) dt.18-06-2025 2/2 Court to the detailed order of the learned Sessions Judge to show that the snatched chain was sold to a jewelry shop and one Santosh Kumar who has been apprehended named this petitioner along with Mohit Kumar who sold the chain on the consideration amount of Rs.25,000/-.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts it would be appropriate that the petitioner seek bail. The anticipatory bail application stands rejected.
6. However, if the petitioner surrender within a period of four weeks from today, the court concerned shall take up the matter and dispose it of preferably on the same day.
7. Before parting this Court would like to put on record its word of appreciation for Ms. Sumitra for the proper assistance rendered in the matter.
