JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 17-04-2019 The present application has been filed for initiating a proceeding of contempt for non-compliance of order dated 19.03.2018 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 7783 of 2017, whereby opposite party no. 3, the District Magistrate, Gaya was directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner preferred with regard to grant of arms licence for rifle preferably within a period of eight weeks of the receipt/production of a copy of this order.

Show cause has been filed on behalf of opposite party no.3, the District Magistrate, Gaya annexing the order of

Patna High Court MJC No.3445 of 2018(3) dt.17-04-2019 2/2 District Magistrate, Gaya dated 16.03.2018 passed in Arms Case No. 141 of 2017, whereby the petitioner's application for grant of licence for rifle has been rejected which is amenable to challenge in appeal.

Hence, the order of this Court has substantially been complied.
