This application for regular bail arises out of Purushottampur P.S. Case No. 56 of 2020, disclosing offence punishable under Sections 25(1-b), a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

The petitioner is in custody since 08.07.2020. Allegedly, from the house belonging to the petitioner the police recovered an automatic country-made pistol. No ammunition was, however, recovered.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the place from where the recovery of the firearm was allegedly made is an open place.

Let the petitioner, above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount, each to the satisfaction of learned J.M. 1st Class, Bettiah, in Purushottampur P.S. Case No. 56 of 2020.
