The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in a case registered under sections 366, 366A of the Indian Penal Code and section 8 of the POCSO Act, 2016.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 12.1.2021 with liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after six months. It is submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 3.2.2020 and there is no chance of the trial concluding in the near future. He has no criminal antecedent.

Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48903 of 2021(13) dt.01-09-2021 2/2 taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case including the liberty granted to the petitioner vide aforesaid order dated 12.1.2021, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Bettiah Mufassil (Banuchhaper) P.S. Case no. 666 of 2019 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 6th Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, POCSO Act, West Champaran, Bettiah.

It is directed that the petitioner shall cooperate in the trial.
