BAJANTHRI ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 12-01-2022 This matter is heard via video conferencing due to circumstances prevailing on account of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Learned counsel for the petitioner is hereby directed to furnish a copy of the petition to learned counsel for the Staterespondents. In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- "(a) To issue a writ of mandamus, commanding the respondents to discharge their legal obligation to merge/absorb and regularize the services of petitioners on the post of Circle Officers on which their postings have been done after Service Transfer based on process of selections on the basis of advertisement and Gazette notification held in the year 2010 and since then they are working on their respective posts of Circle Officers, without any break.
(b) To issue a further writ of mandamus, commanding the respondents to allow the petitioners their promotions on the next higher post of cadre as per their eligibility.
(c) To any other relief or reliefs or, relief's for which the petitioners may be found entitled to."
In support of the aforesaid relief petitioner submitted representation on 26.08.2020 followed by reminder dated
Patna High Court CWJC No.261 of 2021 dt.12-01-2022 3/3 11.09.2020 (Annexure-7 & 8) respectively but the concerned respondent has not acted on the petitioner's representation. Accordingly, the concerned respondent is hereby directed to decide the petitioner's representation and pass a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order. The same shall be communicated to the petitioner at the earliest.
With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed off.
