2. The present modification application has been filed for modifying the order dated 16.10.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 48765 of 2023 in connection with Palasi P.S. Case No. 136 of 2023 registered for offence punishable under Section 30(a)of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide order dated 16.10.2023 the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail in the present case but he has not furnished the bail bond because he was in judicial custody since 14.10.2023 in Sikty P.S. Case No. 268 of 2023 and he has been granted bail in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46136 of 2024(3) dt.28-08-2024 2/2 Cr. Misc. No. 268 of 2023 on 03.04.2024. Thereafter, the petitioner has came to know that he has been granted bail in Palasi P.S. Case No. 136 of 2023. Hence, he has filed the present modification application for extension of time for surrender.

4. In view of the reasons stated above, the time for surrender of petitioner, namely, Santosh Kumar Mandal @ Santosh Kumar and furnishing bail bonds granted in terms of order dated 16.10.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 48765 of 2023 in connection with Palasi P.S. Case No. 136 of 2023 is extended by two weeks' from today.

4. Accordingly, the modification application stands disposed of.
