Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 304(B)/34 of the I.P.C. The prosecution story, in brief, is that the accused persons including the petitioner killed the victim due to nonfulfilment of demand of dowry. This is second attempt on behalf of the petitioner for grant of bail.

Earlier bail application of the petitioner was rejected

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36306 of 2020(3) dt.03-03-2021 2/2 vide Cr. Misc. No. 24799 of 2019 under order dated 19.06.2019 by a Bench of this Court taking into account that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R. and onus is on him to explain the cause of death of the deceased.

A report was called for from the court below regarding the present stage of the case. It has been reported that all the prosecution witnesses have been examined and the trial is likely to be concluded with a period of three months. Considering the nature of accusation and the stage of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same is rejected in connection with Sessions Trial No. 03/2019, arising out of Jhajha P.S. Case No. 25 of 2018, pending in the court of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-IVth, Jamui.

The court below is directed to take all necessary steps to conclude the trial at the earliest.
