The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 420 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, on the informant advertising for sale of his motorcycle on the OLX, it is stated that unknown accused persons on the pretext of testing the motorcycle in question, drove away with the same. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the F.I.R. was registered against unknown. The name of the petitioner transpired in the confessional statement of the petitioner made before police in another case wherefrom he was remanded in the instant case. It is further submitted that contrary to the allegation, no incriminating article or motorcycle has been

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case, the investigation in the case having concluded and the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 1 year, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case no.246 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Patna.
