2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 147, 341, 323, 324, 325, 307, 384, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, this petitioner assaulted one Md. Arbaj with iron rod causing him grievous injury on the hand.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner claims clean antecedent. Charge sheet has already been filed. Petitioner is in custody since 17.2.2025.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the period of custody of the petitioner as well as his clean antecedent prayer
