The petitioner seeks bail in connection with S.T. Excise Case No. 279 of 2019, arising out of Supaul P.S. case no. 253 of 2019 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(A) of Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for petitioner has submitted that there is no recovery of any incriminating article from conscious possession of this petitioner. The recovery has been made from the hotel as mentioned in the written report. It is alleged that four persons started running away from the hotel. The petitioner along with Anil Gupta were arrested by the police. It is further alleged that two persons, namely, Rajdeep Yadav and Ranveer Kamat managed to run

Petitioner is in custody since 11.4.2019 having clean antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-II cum Special Judge (Excise Act), Supaul in connection with S.T. Excise Case No. 279 of 2019, arising out of Supaul P.S. case no. 253 of 2019 subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
