The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 467/468/471/477A/420 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 13(2)/13(1)(c) of the Prevention of Corruption Act. Allegation is that illegal appointment of panchayat teachers was made by the Committee headed by Block Pramukh Renu Devi.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that Renu Devi has already been allowed anticipatory bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court vide order at Annexure-5 and the petitioner had simply distributed the appointment letters,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.62404 of 2018(5) dt.21-01-2019 2/2 issued by the Block Development Officer, to the concerned candidates.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of the order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Special Case No.340 of 2017, arising out of Vigilance Police Station Case No.77 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure as well as condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
