Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 307, 324 and some other allied Sections of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, these petitioners assaulted the son of informant as a result of which he sustained grievous injuries.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in the case due to land dispute. The alleged occurrence took place on the spur of moment and there was no such intention to commit the offence.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48449 of 2021(3) dt.02-08-2022 2/2 Learned counsel appearing for the State and the informant opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail and submitted that petitioners have caused grievous injuries to the son of informant.

Considering the nature of accusation and gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) BKS/- U T
