Mr. Ram Naresh Ray, APP ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE NAWNEET KUMAR PANDEY ORAL ORDER 01-08-2025 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned APP for the State.

2. learned counsel for the petitioner while making the prayer for bail has submitted that according to allegation, three named accused persons fired three shots on the person of the deceased but only two injuries were found on the person of the deceased. His further submission is that considering the fact that the petitioner was absconding, his prayer for bail was rejected vide order dated 26.09.2024 by this Court. The petitioner has been amply punished for his absconding and he has remained under custody for near about two years.

3. The report of the learned Court below shows that the trial is at the stage of prosecution evidence but it has not

4. Learned Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within six months.

5. The Superintendent of Police, Gopalganj is made responsible to ensure the presence of witnesses for recording of their deposition in the learned Court below. The learned Court below is directed not to give a date of more than ten days in the present case. No witness, if produced by the prosecution, shall be returned without being examined and cross-examined.

6. The defence is also expected to cooperate for early disposal of the trial. If the trial is not concluded within the stipulated period, the petitioner shall be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.

7. With this observation, the present application stands disposed of.

8. Let a copy of this order be transmitted immediately to the Superintendent of Police, Gopalganj.
