The petitioner, Shrawan Kumar Tiwary, apprehends his arrest in Mohania P.S. Case No.330 of 2014, registered under Sections 420, 406 and 427 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 11 of the Bengal Gambling Act.

The informant made allegation that petitioner sold lottery tickets, but did not give prize to anybody, although the purchaser of lottery tickets were assured to get dinner set. It is submitted that the case has been compromised. Having considered the nature of the allegation and the fact that the case has already been compromised between the informant and the petitioner, the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a
