The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Excise Case No. 436 of 2020 dated 12.06.2020 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Excise Act.

The petitioner is in custody since 13.06.2020. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that under gun point, recovery of excisable items have been shown from the possession of the petitioner.

Considering the period of custody of the petitioner and taking into account his clean antecedents, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with
