2. At the outset, Mr. Santosh Kumar Singh, learned Advocate for the petitioner fairly submitted that during the pendency of the present application, the police have submitted final report showing the petitioner as innocent and, as such, at present the petitioner's apprehension of arrest, no longer survives. However, he submits that in case the learned jurisdictional court takes cognizance of the offence after differing with the final report, the petitioner may be permitted to approach the court for anticipatory bail.
